KELVIN Tatum is backing Rye House to a Premiership play-off push next season.

The BT Sport TV pundit likes the look of the Team BMR Rockets with British icons Scott Nicholls and Chris Harris set to spearhead the side.

And Tatum will be previewing the new season alongside fellow broadcaster Nigel Pearson at the National Speedway Museum, Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne on Tuesday February 13 as part of their nationwide stage tour.

“Rye House will be hard to beat around Hoddesdon I’m certain of that,” he said. “They have a team who know the track very well and I expect them to have a good season.

“I always say the backbone of any play-off push is a good home record and I’m sure Rye House have the riders to do just that.

“I’m looking forward to our evening at the National Speedway Museum, close to Rye Huse. We’ve had a lot of requests to do a show in that area which makes it easy for fans of the Rockets and Lakeside to come along.

“When we went to Rye House with BT Sport last season I was very impressed with the work the guys are doing there. The stadium looks vastly improved, the track was excellent and I like the opportunity they give to the youngsters to ride there before the meeting.

“Hopefully we will be joined by members of the Rye House management on February 13, they will be more than welcome to join us as our guests.”

Tickets for the Tatum and Pearson show, costing £10, are available from sportstalkevents.co.uk / booking office section.
